Camping Games for the Family
A fun tossing game that doesn't involve a lot of running around and is perfect for smaller campsites. Stand twenty seven feet apart in two teams of 2-4 people. Each team will have a board with a hole cut into it, and the goal of the game is to take turns trying to toss the beanbags into the hole. If you don't have a board, draw a circle and lines in the dirt. First team to get 21 points wins!
Great for any size group! Write down movies, ideas, books or famous people to act out on pieces of paper and place them into a container. Take turns going around the campfire, drawing a slip of paper and acting out the clues until someone guesses it right.
Bring a deck of cards with you and play Go Fish, Crazy 8s, War or Slapjack.
Make a list of objects to find in nature and pair up into teams to begin the hunt. See who can find the entire list of objects first. Create memories by taking pictures with the found objects and enjoy looking through the pictures together!
Don't have a potato sack? Use a trash bag and have teams race to the finish line. This is a great way to burn off some energy while having some fun.
You can play traditional Jenga on a table, or get the larger scale Jenga and set it up in the campsite. This is a great game to play when you're looking to wind things down and you can add to it by writing sticky notes on the pieces. Each time a player pulls a block they can get a truth or dare!
